Due to an exciting new business win, DB Schenker is expanding its Ocean Freight team in Nuneaton and is looking for Customer Service Specialists. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to exceeding customer expectations, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What You’ll Be Doing as a Customer Service Specialist:

  • Building Strong Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain effective communication and support with customers.
  • Managing Workflows: Proactively ensure customer deadlines and expectations are met.
  • Resolving Customer Queries: Investigate and address customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Monitoring Gross Profit (GP): Track GP post-shipment across all transport modes.
  • Supporting New Processes: Assist in the implementation of new customer profiles and operational processes.
  • Attending Customer Meetings: Collaborate with your team leader to identify business efficiencies and improvements.
  • Pricing & Quotations: Ensure all pricing and quotations are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

About You – Skills & Experience:

  • Strong Administration Skills: Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Financial Knowledge: Experience or knowledge of finance is a bonus.
  • Freight Forwarding Knowledge: Familiarity with freight forwarding processes is beneficial.
  • Customer Service Excellence: A positive attitude, motivation, and enthusiasm for delivering outstanding service.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and the ability to work independently.
